2025 Carolina Pediatric Airway Course

Objectives:

• Demonstrate proper management of the normal and abnormal pediatric airway during laryngoscopy and bronchoscopy.

• Provide hands-on experience with open and endoscopic airway procedures in a living animal model, simulated human model, and microlaryngeal laboratory.

• Expose participants to a variety of surgical techniques for management of pediatric airway problems.

• Develop and improve skills of airway management and bronchoscopic technique by managing emergent scenarios in a simulation laboratory.
