Many tumors of the skull base can be successfully removed using an endoscopic minimally invasive approach. Minimally invasive procedures typically result in shorter hospital stays, decreased surgical complications, and faster recovery. Our ENT surgeons are part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of other surgical and nonsurgical specialties at the UNC Skull Base Surgery Program.

We’re proud to offer the NeuroRhinology-Advanced Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery Fellowship. This one-year fellowship program provides comprehensive training in the medical and surgical management of sinonasal inflammatory disease, anterior and central skull base lesions (utilizing both endoscopic and/or open management), allergic disease, and orbital pathology.
