Why Otolaryngology?
The surgeries blew me away from the start when I first experienced them as a medical student. I soon learned how unique the field is with a strong mix of medicine and surgery while also getting to take care of both kids and adults. The interventions can range from life-saving measures to improving our patients’ quality of life.
Why UNC?
My fiancée is a pediatrics resident here and we are so grateful to call this institution our home. We both have very special mentors at UNC who have influenced us to follow in their footsteps.
