Why Otolaryngology?

Otolaryngology offers a unique blend of intricate surgeries and long-term patient relationships across all ages, with the ability to restore vital functions like breathing, hearing, speech, and facial expression/appearance. Its diversity—from delicate microsurgery to complex reconstructive and oncologic procedures—makes it both intellectually stimulating and deeply rewarding.

Why UNC?

I’ve had so many incredible mentors in my training at UNC and wanted the opportunity to keep working with and learning from them.
