Dr. Thompson specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of both adults and children with ear and lateral skull base disorders. This includes hearing loss, cochlear implants, acoustic neuromas, stapedectomy, chronic ear disease, cholesteatoma, tympanic membrane perforations, CSF leaks, facial nerve tumors, and many other conditions. He currently sees patients at both the Chapel Hill and Raleigh/Cary locations.
