Why Otolaryngology?
Otolaryngology is a unique specialty that allows you to surgically and medically manage the ears, nose, and throat. The broad range of pathology and the technically challenging surgery is stimulating on a daily basis. The surgeons are known to be kind and approachable, and that is what ultimately drew me to the field of otolaryngology!
Why UNC?
UNC offers the opportunity to learn the full breadth and depth of the specialty under the mentorship of renowned faculty. The faculty and residents at UNC encourage a culture of innovation and intellectual curiosity through research. This creates an environment which pushes pushes the boundaries of otolaryngology.
