Why Otolaryngology?
I had a parotid tumor my first year of medical school which was removed and sparked my interest in Otolaryngology. I love the variety of surgical cases and ability to help make a difference in children’s lives.
Why UNC?
UNC offered one of the most comprehensive Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowships from cleft lip/palate to airway reconstruction, otologic surgery and everything in between. Many of my mentors also trained at UNC, which sparked my interest in the program.
Fun Fact: I was a 4 year NCAA collegiate golfer
