Why Otolaryngology?
Love the breadth of surgery within ENT and the ability to give patients’ impaired special senses back. Also enjoy ENT research, and studying equity in ENT where much work remains undone.
Why UNC?
I did a research year here as a med student and loved the faculty, research opportunities, the unlimited research support (I’ve gone to a lot of local, national, and international meetings!), and learning environment!
