Drs. Katie Hoadley (Assistant Professor), Piotr Mieczkowski (Associate Professor), Joel Parker (Associate Professor), Chuck Perou (Professor), Patrick Sullivan (Professor) and Jenny Ting (Professor) have been recognized as 2020 Highly Cited Researchers. ClarivateTM selects researchers who have demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field or fields through the publication of multiple highly cited papers during the last decade. Their names were drawn from the publications that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in the Web of Science™ citation index. Twenty School of Medicine and sixteen UNC researchers were named to the list this year.
