Aim

To implement guideline-driven lung cancer screening at UNC Internal Medicine Clinic.

Project Accomplishments

  • Lung cancer screening decision aid (print and video) developed and tested (2015 & 2016)
  • Co-Investigator awarded NC TraCS Pilot Grant Award for follow-up study (2017)
  • Recognized as an approved NC MOC Project providing Part IV credit for physicians and physician assistants (2018)
  • Cross-disciplinary lung cancer screening working group continues, including UNC HCS reporting for national registry
