School of Medicine IT is providing onsite support for Distance Learning and Webex. Stop by with a laptop to work on your distance learning materials with tech support available and to get help with software including Webex, Zoom, Panopto, Sakai, and Poll Everywhere.

School of Medicine IT is in the process of upgrading classrooms throughout the school as part of a project to modernize room technologies, create more uniform systems across rooms, and improve ease of use for the presenters.

On November 12, 2018, UNC School of Medicine IT launched the new Webex video conferencing service for School of Medicine faculty, staff, and students.

2-Step Verification will soon be required to access Office 365, which includes email, calendar and OneDrive, among many other applications. School of Medicine faculty and staff will be required to use 2-Step in early November. The mandatory 2-Step for Office 365 will be a phased rollout from November 1st - 8th. In preparation for this, several dedicated 2-Step Help Clinics will be available throughout the School of Medicine.
