If you are publishing data acquired or processed using MSL instruments, please acknowledge us in your papers by mentioning where you did your imaging, EM sample preparation or image analysis. This simple step supports our mission to help you with your research. If you’d like to thank staff members by name, please let us know so we can detail the specific contributions to your project of each staff member, particularly for electron microscopy projects.
Please include the following text in your publication acknowledgements:

If you think that the MSL’s support of your research may be sufficient to merit authorship, take a look at these authorship guidelines from the ABRF, and email us to discuss this further. As would be the case with any prospective author of a manuscript, do NOT include any of the MSL staff as authors on a paper without proper consultation prior to submission.
Finally, please send us a copy of your publication once accepted!
