Biography
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I completed a BS in Biology in the University of Puerto Rico – Cayey campus. While studying there, I carried out research in a variety of fields, including electrochemistry and physics, on campus and in Michigan State University. I graduated magna cum laude from UPR in 2013 and moved to UNC that same fall as part of BBSP. By spring 2014, I joined the Neurobiology Curriculum and Dr. Tim Gershon’s lab.
