Bio
Tarek Zikry is an assistant professor in the School of Data Science and Society. He completed his Ph.D. in Biostatistics at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, and joined SDSS after a year of working with Genevera Allen at Columbia University in the Department of Statistics and Zuckerman Institute. His research interests lie in developing statistical methodologies within unsupervised statistical learning to facilitate robust data-driven discovery in cancer, neuroscience, public health and computational medicine.
