Biography

I graduated from UCLA in 2015 with a B.S. in Neuroscience. While at UCLA I worked in the lab of Dr. James Waschek studying the role of PACAP and VIP in multiple sclerosis, and interned at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute and Janssen R&D. Here at UNC I work in Dr. Joyce Besheer’s lab where my research focuses on how affective disorders such at PTSD can change alcohol drinking. When I’m not in the lab I enjoy cooking, fishing, and playing with my two cats Bacon and Eggs!
