UNC Kittner Eye Center- The UNC Kittner Eye Center is located just off Interstate 40 (exit 273) in the Carolina Crossing building. It is near the corner of NC Hwy 54 and Farrington Road (2226 Nelson Highway, Ste. 200 / Chapel Hill, NC 27517), about five miles east of UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill. UNC Optical Shop
Located inside the UNC Kittner Eye Center, the Optical Shop can fill optical prescriptions for children, teens and adults. You do not need to be a UNC Ophthalmology patient to have your prescriptions filled at the Optical Shop. For appointments and information, call 984-974-2039. There is free parking in front of and behind the Kittner Eye Center for Optical Shop patients.

UNC Health Eye Care At Cary
UNC Health is excited to offer expanded services with the opening of its newest eye care clinic in September 2025. The range of ocular expertise at this Cary eye care clinic includes: Glaucoma, Retina, Neuro-Ophthalmology (New), Comprehensive Ophthalmology, and Optometry (New).
