The four Carolina Summer Fellows made presentations of their summer research July 21, 2014. The students, their mentors and the titles of their talks were:

- Colin McDowell—Dr. Rob Nicholas, “Resistance Mechanisms in Neisseria gonorrhoeae”
- Laura Weng—Dr. Alex Duncan, “Role of Neisseria Gonorrhoeae Lytic Transglycosylases in Mediating Resistance to Host Antimicrobial Responses”
- Raymond Zhang—Dr. Lee Graves, “The Regulation of BIRC6 in Drug-Resistant Chronic Myeloid Leukemia”
