Cendra Agulhon, a postdoctoral research associate in the McCarthy Lab, has won the Postdoctoral Award for Research Excellence for the 2010-2011 academic year. Cendra was notified July 28 of the award.
The award was given in recognition of Cendra’s impressive research accomplishments and her potential to become an outstanding researcher and scholar in her field, as well as acknowledging her contributions to the UNC community. The award provides $1000 to support her research and development.

Yang Wang, a postdoctoral research associate in Zefeng Wang’s Lab in the Department of Pharmacology, was also a recipient of this pretigious award for 2010. read more
