Justin EnglishJustin English, a member of Henrik Dohlman’s lab, defended his thesis and received his Ph.D. April 1, 2014. The title of his thesis is “Stress on a Deadline: Setting a Timer for Adaptation in Living Cells.”

Justin will be working as postdoc in the lab of Bryan Roth in the Pharmacology Department at UNC-CH via a research grant from the National Institute of Drug Abuse. They will be leveraging some new molecular biology techniques to investigate questions regarding the addiction and the distribution of G-protein receptors in the brain.

Justin’s wife, Michelle and his parents, Larry and Patty English attended his defense.
