Leanna Gentry, a member of Channing Der’s lab, successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis September 3, 2015.

The title of her dissertation is “Targeting the Ras-Ral effector pathway for cancer treatment.” Congratulations, Leanna!Leanna’s husband, Garrett Keener, and his mother, Lelia Vaughan, attended the defense and party along with Der Lab members.

Leanna already has a new job lined up as a Postdoctoral Fellow at CATO Research, an international regulatory and clinical contract research organization which is headquartered in Durham, NC.

We wish Leanna all the best in her career as well as all her other future endeavors.
