Mark Cronan, a member of the Johnson Lab and a graduate student in the Biochemistry and Biophysics department successfully defended his thesis and received his Ph.D. on May 25, 2010. A reception was held afterward in the Pharmacology Department conference room. Guests included Mark’s father, Dr. John Cronan, who came all the way from Illinois to be here for the occasion. Dr. Cronan is a faculty member of the Microbiology and Biochemistry Department at the University of Illinois.

The title of Mark’s thesis is “MAP3K Regulation of MAPK Activation in vitro and Tumor Growth and Metastasis in vivo.”
