Marty Farrell, a member of the Roth lab, successfully defended his thesis February 27, 2013 and received his Ph.D. The title of his dissertation was “”Pharmacosynthetics and the Cell-Type Specific Control of Neuronal Signaling.”

Marty’s wife, Candace, her parents, Nancy and Joe Killian, and his dad, Marty Farrell, attended his defense. Nancy and Joe drove from Spartanburg, SC while Marty’s dad, Marty, flew in from Philadelphia.

Our congratulations, Marty! We wish him all the best in his research and future endeavors!
