Meg Duncan, a member of Rob Nicholas’ lab, gave her final defense Friday, June 22, 2012. The title of her dissertation was “Probing the mechanisms of antibiotic resistance in the gonococcus.”
Meg’s parents, Page and Clayton Duncan, boyfriend, Josh, and others members of her family attended her defense. The graduation party was celebrated at Top of the Hill.
As Meg is an MD/PhD student, she will be returning to UNC School of Medicine to complete her medical education. Our congratulations to Meg!
