Nicole Vincent Jordan, a member of the Johnson lab, successfully defended her thesis September 6, 2012, receiving her Ph.D. The title of her thesis is “Epigenetic Regulation of Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition in Epithelial Stem Cells and Triple Negative Breast Cancer.” Her husband, David Jordan, attended her defense. A celebration was held afterward at the Carolina Brewary.
Nicole will take some time off to have her baby and then continue her research pursuits as a postdoc. Our congratulations to Nicole! We wish you all the best with your new family and all your future research endeavors!
