Szu-Aun Lim

Congratulations to Szu-Aun Lim, an undergraduate researcher in the Song Lab, for receiving Highest Honors for her Senior Honor’s Biology Thesis titled, “Regulation of Adult Neurogenesis by the Hippocampal Cholecystokinin Network!” To learn about the requirements for this prestigious distinction, visit the biology department’s official webpage on the subject.

*Szu-Aun will graduate with honors in May 2016 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in both Biology and Chemistry and minoring in Cognitive Science. She has been in the Song Lab since the Summer of 2014 and has accepted a full-time position as lab manager, in addition to her role conducting research. She is currently focused on the involvement of CCK in regulating adult neurogenesis.

Szu-Aun was highlighted on LabTV on the UNC Channel in December, 2015. In addition, she is a recent 2015 SURF fellow and recipient of the William and Ida Taylor Fellowship.
