Description  9-week course specific to dealing with the stigma regarding mental health challenges

Fully and thoroughly manualized
• Includes facilitator guide and participant handouts

75-90 minute sessions

Each session includes handouts, new information/education, discussion questions, activities, etc.

Homework/home practice strongly encouraged

First half of course focuses on internalized stigma, second half on more interpersonal issues

Intended for general mental health use
• A research intervention version exists for PTSD (ESS-P)

May be appropriate to have second facilitator present when possible
