Neurosurgical Education
Please visit the following links for information on training in the Department of Neurosurgery: Skull Base & Spine Dissection Lab Simulation Center The length of residency training in neurological surgery is six years including one year of general surgery. Two residents are accepted each year and appointments begin June 24. Residents must take the American Board of Neurological Surgery written examination annually, and must take it for credit and achieve a passing score prior to completion of the training program.
