Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a person-centered counseling style for addressing the common problem of ambivalence about change. It is designed to strengthen an individual’s motivation for and movement toward a specific goal by eliciting and exploring the person’s own reasons for change within an atmosphere of acceptance, collaboration, and compassion.
What you will see in these packages include:
- MI training
- coaching
- intervention development
- process evaluation
- coding (for fidelity purposes) services
Trainings are offered as introductory workshops and additional practice and coaching is necessary for increased MI fidelity. The prices listed are estimates and a more specific amount will be provided after a free phone consultation to determine interests and needs. Fees do not include travel and/or facility costs and supplemental intervention materials may require material and/or production costs.
