The MARCOF is an assessment tool designed for parents, teachers, and therapists to use when considering mainstream readiness for children with hearing loss. The tool is designed to consider a variety of developmental and educational domains, formal and informal assessment, and family concerns. Overall scoring provides information about a child’s strengths and challenges and highlights needs for further intervention and/or support services. Detailed information on the MARCOF will be addressed and participants will have the opportunity to learn and apply information through a variety of case studies.
