Education

The Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill offers a wide variety of educational opportunities. Our dedicated faculty is committed to improving the knowledge base in the field of otolaryngology/head and neck surgery through Medical School, Residency, and Fellowship Programs.

The Resident Training Program in UNC Department of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery is structured to develop a mature otolaryngologist-Head & Neck surgeon with extensive clinical and research experience. A major strength of our residency program lies in the diverse expertise and interests of our faculty combined with the high clinical volume that goes along with “being the public, academic medical center operated by and for the people of North Carolina”.
