Welcome back to the full swing of the academic year! We’re excited to kick things off by recognizing Dr. Faris Almubaslat as our first Diagnostician of the Month.
Dr. Almubaslat is honored for not one, but two exceptional neurologic diagnoses, made possible through his outstanding neurological examination skills.
In the first case, his detection of a Hoffman’s sign led to the diagnosis of motor neuron disease.
In the second, he identified an internuclear ophthalmoplegia (INO) that had been missed on initial imaging, ultimately revealing a pontine stroke.
This award celebrates residents, fellows, attendings, and medical students who demonstrate excellence in clinical neurology through masterful diagnostic work.
