Why I Chose UNC: I was initially drawn to UNC’s emphasis on prioritizing patient care and its dedication to serving the uninsured. During the interview process, the faculty were super personable and welcoming, and made me feel at home right off the bat. I felt like it would be a place where I would have vast opportunities available to me, but still be in a supportive, familial environment.
