UNC Neurology is pleased to announce Dr. Jorge L. Almodóvar-Suárez, MD, FAAN as grand rounds speaker for September 25, 2025.

Title: Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension

Dr. Almodóvar-Suárez is a Professor of Neurology at UNC-Chapel Hill. He also serves as the Neurology Division Chief for Comprehensive Neurology and is the Clinic Director of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Dr. Almodóvar-Suárez general areas of interest include: general neurology, medical education, clinical neurophysiology, neuromuscular disorders, motor neuron disorders, and medical ethics.
