Dr. Mehul D. Patel, PhD, is a clinical and population health researcher with training in epidemiology and biostatistics. His research investigates systems of care for acute illness and injury, with the goal of improving timely access to life‑saving treatments for rural and underserved populations. He leads the Emergency Medical CollaBorative on RegionAlized CarE (EMBRACE), a multi‑institutional research initiative focused on advancing regional systems of care.
