About
While my genetics training began in metabolism and rare multisystem disorders, during my genetic counseling training I was fortunate enough to have a neurogenetics rotation. Regardless of specialty, genetic testing is just one potential part of your health information. Genetic counseling allows us to discuss and decide together how genetic testing might fit into your care goals. During a genetic counseling appointment, we’ll talk about your family history, details of genetic testing, and your thoughts on receiving genetic information. There’s no right answer to these questions and it’s my job and privilege to support you and your family in this discussion and beyond.
