About
While my role in the Department of Neurology has continuously evolved since my faculty appointment at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2013, I have always held an unwavering commitment to providing the best care possible for all the patients at UNC Hospitals. Recognizing the importance of a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of many of our patients with cerebrovascular disease, I helped to establish the UNC Neurovascular/Aneurysm Clinic in 2014. Since that time, I have served as the co-director of this clinic, working side-by-side with members of the UNC Neurosurgery, Diagnostic Radiology, and Interventional Neuroradiology departments as we incorporated an innovative multi-disciplinary approach to evaluate patients presenting with a wide variety of vascular issues, including aneurysms, AVMs, dissections, and Moyamoya disease. In this clinic, we engage patients in shared decision-making while providing evidence-based treatment options.
