UNC Department of Neurology is please to announce the promotion of Dr. Rebecca Traub from Clinical Associate Professor to Clinical Professor based on excellence in clinical activity.
Dr. Traub completed her Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University in 2002. Following her BA, Dr. Traub earned a Doctor of Medicine from Brown University School of Medicine in 2006. In 2007, she completed an internal medicine internship at Columbia University. She then completed her Neurology Residency program at the Neurological Institute at Columbia University in 2010 and completed her EMG/Neuromuscular Medicine Fellowship from the Neurological Institute at Columbia University in 2011. From 2011 to 2013, she was a member of the faculty at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA. From 2013 to 2016, Dr. Traub was an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Columbia University and a Neurologist at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Beginning in 2016, she became a Neurologist with UNC Hospitals and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at UNC. She was promoted to the rank of Clinical Associate Professor in 2021.
