UNC Department of Neurology is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Tamara Strohm from Clinical Assistant Professor to Clinical Associate Professor based on her clinical activity and meaningful contributions to advancing patient care and strengthening clinical programs.

Dr. Strohm received her Bachelor’s degree in Science from Baylor University in 2009. Next, she earned a Doctor of Medicine from University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine in 2013. Dr. Strohm completed the Neurology Residency program at the Cleveland Clinic in 2017 and a Fellowship in Neurocritical Care from Ohio State University in 2019. From 210 to 2017, she was a Clinical Instructor at the Cleveland Clinic/Lerner College of Medicine Neurology Department. In 2019, she became a Clinical Assistant Professor in Neurocritical Care at Ohio State Department of Neurology. Dr. Strohm was appointed a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at UNC Chapel Hill in 2022.
