Khyati Patel and Paige Roberts, two of our own TeamSTEPPS® master trainers, led an engaging in‑clinic training session for the APP group at Meadowmont on February 17, 2026. The three‑hour workshop, held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and followed by a department‑provided lunch, offered participants an opportunity to strengthen their communication and collaboration skills using real‑world clinical scenarios.
Participants shared positive feedback, highlighting how meaningful it was to see TeamSTEPPS tools applied directly to situations they encounter in their interdisciplinary clinic environment. The tailored examples helped illustrate practical ways the framework can support teamwork both within clinic teams and across the broader APP group.
The session also provided a rare chance for APP providers to learn, reflect, and connect with one another outside their day‑to‑day schedules.
