Dr. Kathy Whitfield Named UNC Kittner Eye Center Medical Director
UNC Ophthalmology is pleased to recognize Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology Dr. Kathy Whitfield as the new Medical Director of UNC Kittner Eye Center. A subspecialist in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus, Dr. Whitfield takes on her new role as Medical Director effective May 1, 2018.

More than 30 ophthalmology residents participated in the Advanced Anterior Segment Surgical Course at UNC in February. The course featured nine speakers and provided hands-on training.
