Opened in September 2025, UNC Health Eye Care at Cary offers central North Carolina residents expanded specialty eye care at HealthPark at Kildaire, a UNC Health multi-specialty medical complex in Cary. At UNC Health’s newest eye care clinic, our team of comprehensive eye care and subspecialty physicians uses cutting-edge technologies and evidence-based approaches to screen for, diagnose and treat complex ocular conditions. The range of comprehensive and subspecialty eye care offered at UNC Health Eye Care at Cary includes medical and surgical clinical services in the following areas:
Comprehensive Ophthalmology / Optometry – Routine vision screenings, optician care centered encompassing eyeglass lens/frame fitting and contact lens prescriptions
Pediatric Ophthalmology – Strabismus (eye misalignment), amblyopia (reduced vision in one eye), blocked tear ducts, other vision problems in children
Glaucoma– High eye pressure, optic nerve damage, and related vision loss
Cataracts – Cataract diagnosis and surgery, routine eye exams, and common eye conditions
