One fellowship is available for the 2027 – 2028 academic year. For our 2026 – 2027 recruitment season, applications will be accepted starting November 1st, and interviews will begin January 14th.

Submit the below required application materials to Musculoskeletal Imaging Departmental Fellowship Coordinator Virginia Carver or as needed, by mail to the address at bottom. Virginia can also answer application-related questions.

Original, official medical school transcript, sent directly from the school
USMLE board scores
Three (3) letters of recommendation – Mail LORs directly to UNC MSK Imaging Fellowship Director. (one LOR from Residency Program Director is required)
Personal statement
Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate, if your medical degree is from a non-US, non-Canadian school
