The UNC Department of Radiology, aligned with the mission of the UNC School of Medicine, strives to improve the health and well-being of citizens of the State of North Carolina. We integrate the three pillars of the School of Medicine — education, research, and clinical care — with the leadership, excellence, and experience of the Department faculty. The Department aspires to train undergraduate and graduate learners in Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, and subspecialty radiology to be well-rounded physicians poised for clinical success and ready for the challenges of the future.
