Biography

Valerie Jewells, DO, FACR, is a Professor of Neuroradiology and the Department’s Co-Director of Clinical Faculty Development. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia. Subsequently, she completed her Body Imaging Fellowship from Hahnemann Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, and a Neuroradiology Fellowship at Duke University in Durham, NC.

Specialty

Her special interests include imaging of the head and neck and research interests in Imaging of Multiple Sclerosis using diffusion tensor imaging and magnetic resonance spectroscopy.

My philosophy is to do what is best for the patient. Think of how you would want to be treated if you were in their shoes.
