About
Biography
Dr. Bradley Spieler is a dedicated medical educator with over two decades of experience training medical students, residents, fellows, and allied health professionals. His commitment to teaching began during his internship and extended through residency and fellowship, where he provided clinical supervision, research mentorship, and instruction through lectures and small group sessions. He has presented at national and international conferences, served as a principal investigator on numerous research projects, and was recognized as NYU’s “Fellow of the Year” for excellence in resident education.
As a faculty member, Dr. Spieler continues to teach through didactic lectures, interdisciplinary conferences, and hands-on instruction in radiology reading rooms and procedure suites. He also contributes to continuing medical education and plays a vital role in curriculum development, policy creation, medical school admissions, scholarship oversight, and academic committees.
A native of the New Orleans area, Dr. Spieler is an active mentor to trainees and junior faculty, a prolific contributor to clinical literature, and an engaged member of institutional and national professional committees. He is also the founder of the Saints Fans Being Saints program—an initiative in partnership with the Spirit of Charity Foundation and University Medical Center New Orleans that supports children and families facing life-threatening illnesses.
Beyond his professional life, Dr. Spieler is a devoted husband and father of three, an avid traveler, yoga practitioner, lover of music and the arts, and a passionate New Orleans Saints fan.

Clinical Interests
Emergency imaging as well as hepatic imaging, particularly related to hepatocellular carcinoma, genitourinary malignancy, imaging, gastrointestinal oncology, inflammatory bowel disease, and infectious diseases.
Body imaging with a focus on advanced abdominopelvic MRI applications including MR enterography, CT enterography, and prostate MRI.
Research Interests
Collaborative efforts in research, particularly those involving basic scientists, medical students, and residents. Clinical application of artificial intelligence, radiology education and career development. Applications of social media platforms for the enrichment of radiology and innovation in didactics.
