Why UNC Radiology?
Chapel Hill has been my home previously for over 28 years. UNC for 5 of them. Truthfully I cannot think of a better culture of pride in patient care, collegiality among peers, and a willingness to learn that is centered at UNC radiology and UNC medical center more broadly.
Best thing about UNC
The people!
Goals for Residency or Fellowship
To become a competent radiologist driving patient care and centering patient outcomes.
Tell us about someone who is an inspiration in your work
I am inspired by Dr. Beverly Womack who worked in the high country of western North Carolina for the span of her career and spent time teaching the family medicine residents in the county how to deliver excellent medical care for women. I look forward to using her teaching paradigms in my own work in resident and medical student education.
