Her areas of research include low dose imaging techniques, evidence-based pediatric imaging, imaging in pediatric pulmonary disease, pediatric ultrasound and MR applications and imaging in non-accidental pediatric trauma. She is a member of the American Association of Women in Radiology, the American College of Radiology (Fellow), the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (Fellow), the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiologic Society of North America, the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound and the Society for Pediatric Radiology. Dr. Fordham serves as a reviewer for several journals and works on a variety of committees.
