Clinical and Research Interests
I have an interest in working with my hands as well as completing reads behind the scenes! I did a surgical intern year and was previously interested in orthopaedic surgery, so MSK, IR, and mammo are all clinical interest with procedural skills and hands-on work intermittently with patients.
Why UNC Radiology?
The UNC team is welcoming, engaging, and very professional all at once! There is a lovely depth and breadth of experience in the program and strong preparation for Boards. I’m very excited to be a Tar Heel!
Best thing about UNC
The people and the place are my favorite part of UNC. With a family atmosphere, a green and thriving younger city, and so many things to do, UNC is quickly becoming home!
Goals for Residency or Fellowship
I want to explore all radiology has to offer, sharpen my education skills to pass on knowledge to further generations of medical students, and work on procedural skills with imaging guidance.
Tell us about someone who is an inspiration in your work
My mom, Susan Jeansonne! She has a housecalls pediatrics practice, which navigates both patient care and medical business practice to create something unique and centered on the patient experience. She’s taught me that many of the most important life lessons are learned in kindergarten, and that a little joy and color in life never hurts!
