About
Yueh Z. Lee, MD, PhD, is Professor of Radiology. He is also an Adjunct Physics, Astronomy & Biomedical Engineering professor at UNC. Dr. Lee completed his medical and doctoral degrees (Biomedical Engineering) at UNC-Chapel Hill. After completing UNC’s MD/PhD program, he completed his Internship (General Surgery), Diagnostic Radiology residency and Neuroradiology fellowship at UNC. His areas of interest are advancing imaging through physics and first-in-human studies with novel technologies. Dr. Lee is the Department’s “translational” scientist and clinical neuroradiologist. He is responsible for the medical translation of the carbon nanotube x-ray devices.
