Continuity of Operations in response to COVID-19
In alignment with the UNC System Office guidance on expanding teleworking and the University’s guidance to mitigate the risks of COVID-19, the Sponsored Programs Office (SPO) will implement telework operations beginning Tuesday, March 17.
During this period, we want to assure the School of Medicine research community and partners that SPO is fully operational and committed to providing the service and support you need with sponsored programs administration. We expect you will find minimal impact to normal operations and that SPO will continue to be responsive and supportive of your business needs.
Together, we can respond to the call for social distancing with continuity of operations by:
- video conferencing when possible
- emailing documents over sending paper files, and
- continuing communications by calling, emailing or video conferencing – SPO remains fully operational
We recognize there are situations where processing original documents remains necessary and SPO will continue to support these types of requests.
